The quantification methods will vary as follows:

• If the insulation is modeled: It should be quantified according to its construction methodology, such as length, area, or volume.
• If the insulation is not modeled: It should be included in the composition of the host architectural / structural element and described within the corresponding Bill of Quantities (BoQ) item.
